Between is a place to begin.
An invitation to think with us.
Between ignorance and knowledge lies the willingness to inquire. In Plato’s Symposium, Diotima describes the lover of wisdom as occupying this intermediate position. It offers one historical starting point for thinking about metaxy: the space between.
What we know → What we can ask → What we might create
Our use of Metaxis is a contemporary creative interpretation. We are interested in what happens between a possibility and its realisation, between people who see differently, and between institutions that need to work together. An ancient philosophical idea does not supply a modern business method; it opens a question we can put to work.
Historical starting point: Plato, Symposium 204a–b. The application to Metaxis is our contemporary interpretation.
