Sixteen years of making something from what is here.
Metaxis is a Namibian practice led by Tuna Willem. We bring ideas, people and resources together, drawing on sixteen years of building, learning and doing the work. Our story belongs to this country: its imagination, its contradictions, its talent and its unfinished possibilities.

Between worlds, making them meet.
We move between culture and commerce, institutions and communities, imagination and practical work. We believe these worlds have something to offer one another. Our purpose is to help them meet and make something useful together.

What we are working towards.
We want a Namibia where talent can find a place, ideas can become livelihoods, and people can participate in shaping their communities. Our work is to give those possibilities form: a concept, a team, a partnership, an enterprise or a project that can be carried through. We support the direction of NDP6 and intend to contribute through work, not only words.

We have cut our teeth in practice.
Our experience includes training people across the country in toilet installation. Work like this has taught us to stay close to the people who must make an idea work on the ground. We have made mistakes. We have also had to work through mistakes made by others. Both have shaped our judgment, our resilience and the care we bring to the next undertaking.

A team shaped around the work.
We work with people across the six sectors of society and bring together the expertise each project needs: technical, financial, creative and practical. We value experienced specialists, emerging talent and interns. Partners contribute knowledge, relationships, resources and support in kind. We build a team for the task, with clear roles and responsibility.

Our company family.
Our portfolio brings together advisory, enterprise, design, communication, property and community work. Meet the entities and see the role each plays.

Rooted here. Open to the world.
We work locally and welcome international collaboration. If you share a question, an ambition or a belief that something needs to exist, start a conversation with us.
